To Place Annotation Symbols

  1. Select an annotation symbol from the Symbols gallery. (Example: Specialty Symbol) The Properties dialog displays.
  2. Enter a tag number for the symbol, or accept the default.
  3. Modify the symbol properties as needed.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Use the mouse to place the symbol in the drawing.
  6. Connect the leader line to the component you are annotating.
  7. Place the symbol annotation (Tag Number) when prompted.
  8. Right-click to end the command.
